Plentiful

Plentiful is a utopian project inspired by historical agricultural practices that use stone walls to create microclimates for growing sensitive crops in challenging environments. Drawing from the 19th-century Murs à Pêches in France and giardini panteschi in Italy, it employs dry stone walls to retain heat, block wind, and trap moisture, creating stable, frost-resistant conditions that support resilient harvests. More than agriculture, Plentiful is a sanctuary that reconnects people with the land and one another. Founded by a group committed to holistic well-being, members tend individual plots and share in the cultivation, preparation, and enjoyment of food. Its garden-based economy supplies local markets, tying prosperity to stewardship. Through cultivation, communal meals, and seasonal celebrations, Plentiful rebuilds the bond between people and nature, countering urban isolation and industrial food systems.
